Vidkun

Vidkun
Vidkun m
Scandinavian: from an Old Norse personal name composed of the elements víðr wide + kunnr wise, experienced. It was borne by Vidkun Quisling (1887–1945), the Norwegian collaborator with the Nazis, whose surname has become a byword for treachery. Consequently, it is now completely out of fashion.
